The Montessori Program functions in partnership with School District 22. We are provided with classroom space, teachers and “regular” classroom supplies.
Beyond that, it is the responsibility of the Vernon Montessori Society (VMS) to pay for specialized Montessori materials, tools and programing.
The VMS is 100% run by parent volunteers.
It costs approximately $10,000 to outfit 1 classroom with Montessori tools alone.
Question: Would you rather…
Pay a bi-annual fee of no more than $500,
Volunteer a minimum number of hours annually, or
Fundraise like a Girl Guide being chased by the cookie monster?
