Brenda has been teaching for over 30 years! She ventured into Montessori when she helped start up Don Titus Montessori in Chetwynd, BC. The more she learned about Montessori, the more she loved it! She has been a Montessori teacher for ten years. In her spare time, she loves being in the outdoors - hiking, camping, snowshoeing, skiing, kayaking. She shares the love of the outdoors with her students and enjoys going on outdoor education field trips!

I feel truly fortunate to have spent more than three decades living, raising my family, and working as an educator in the picturesque North Okanagan. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of being a part of the Silver Star School community, with eight of those years dedicated to teaching Montessori.
Looking back to 2003, I recall a group of parents, including myself, coming together to initiate the Montessori program for our children. It brings me immense joy to see the enduring enthusiasm for Montessori education among the families and children who I am currently working with.
When I am not at work or relaxing at home, you will find me outdoors immersed in the wonders of nature. I enjoy activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, canoeing, paddleboarding, drawing, and camping in the beautiful places around us.
