Our History
The School District 22 Montessori Program began its partnership between the School Board and Vernon Montessori Society in 2002.
The School Board provides classroom space, teaching and administration staff, and mainstream tools and materials.
The Vernon Montessori Society is responsible for the specialized Montessori programs, martials and tools such as our Waseca systems.
Purpose
To establish, promote, develop, maintain, manage, nurture and operate Montessori Education in Vernon, BC.
To raise funds for the purposes of the Society and in particular to enhance facilities, supply materials, hire employees, create programs, and to lease, purchase, or otherwise acquire and operate facilities.
To solicit the cooperation and financial assistance of other charitable organizations and community groups concerned with the development of Montessori education in the Province of British Columbia.
